Bharat Forge Kilsta

Bharat Forge acquired Imatra Kilsta AB, Sweden along with its wholly owned subsidiary, Scottish Stampings, Scotland (together called as Imatra Forging Group).

With manufacturing facilities at two locations, Karlskoga Sweden, & Ayr Scotland, Imatra Forging Group has a long and proud tradition in forgings and an impeccable reputation for Quality and Technology.

Bharat Forge Kilsta Group (Bharat Forge Kilsta & Scottish Stampings) is one of the world’s leading forging groups, largest manufacturer of Front Axle Beams and the second largest manufacturer of heavy crankshafts in Europe. This acquisition strengthens the company's dual shore supply capability across Engine & Chassis components to both Global Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicle manufacturers.

With this acquisition, Bharat Forge now has a ready manufacturing base to produce all of its core products - crankshafts, beams, knuckles and pistons in minimum two locations worldwide, and provide design & engineering and technology front-end support, close to customers for these products.

So, while at one end, this enhances Bharat Forge’s competitive advantage in giving complete service & better value to global customers, at the other end, it will enhance Bharat Forge s share of business with them.
